Willow vets acknowledged by nonprofit

Jerry Miller attends lunch at the Willow Springs Senior Center once a week to spend time with his brother, Ralph Miller. He is a part of the nonprofit organization Veterans Helping Veterans, based in Northeast Arkansas. This nonprofit organizes fundraisers to provide statues for veterans of all branches of service, each statue unique to the specific branch. The nonprofit also delivers gift baskets to veterans on Veteran’s Day, as well as helping veterans access their benefits.

 

Recently, Miller arranged for veterans who are regulars at the Willow Springs Senior Center to be recognized with trophies.
