July 2
Sgt. Hocking observed a suspicious vehicle pull into the parking lot area of the Willow West Nursing home facility, outside of normal business hours and in a closed parking lot. His investigation found the driver with legitimate reason to be on the property, no valid license, no insurance, and no valid vehicle registration.
Officer Barnhouse took a report of possible harassment. The incident is currently under investigation.
July 3
Sgt. Hocking took a report regarding a failed custody exchange.
Officer Barnhouse took a report of trespassing. A trespass order was served to one individual.

Officer Jim Hedlesten took a report of property damage involving a cut copper line on a propane tank.
Lt. Michael Zeller took a report of a failed custody exchange.
Lt. Zeller took a report of trespassing on Frisco Ave.
Officer Hedlesten conducted a requested wellbeing check on East High St.
Lt. Zeller conducted a requested wellbeing check on West Main St.
Lt. Zeller responded to North Center St for a domestic disturbance. 
Lt. Zeller spoke with an individual regarding a juvenile problem. 
July 6
Officer McGinnis conducted a security check on an abandoned vehicle on US Hwy 6-63.
Lt. Zeller conducted a requested wellbeing check on State Route 76.
July 8
Officer Hedlesten took a report of a violation of an order of protection.
Officer Hedlesten took a report of the theft of gas cans from Clingan Ave.
Sgt. Hocking took a report of vandalism and property damage on North Ferguson St. He later located and arrested a suspect, and charges will be forwarded to Willow Springs Municipal Court.
Officer McGinnis assisted the fire department on East Fourth Street.
Officer Hedlesten responded to North Grand St for a disturbance. 
 
For the week officers: assisted with one animal call, completed ten area building checks, assisted three motorists, assisted with three incidents of lost property, completed three miscellaneous administration duties, spoke with eight individuals requesting information, returned requested contact with three individuals, and issued six traffic warnings.
