Donate Blood August 21 at Ozarks Healthcare

The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks, the sole supplier of blood, platelets and plasma to more than 40 area hospitals, is encouraging community members to give blood at an upcoming blood drive at Ozarks Healthcare on Friday, Aug. 21. Donors will receive a premium velour beach towel and can enter for a chance to win a $10,000 dream vacation to the destination of their choice.

 

Community Blood Center of the Ozarks donors provide all the blood for patients at Ozarks Healthcare, as well as over 40 other hospitals across the Ozarks. West Plains area residents will have the opportunity to donate at Ozarks Healthcare, OMC Parkway Center – Willard Hunter Classroom, located at 1211 Porter Wagoner Blvd. in West Plains, Mo. on Friday, Aug. 21 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

 

Photo identification required. Please eat well and drink plenty of fluids prior to donating. Donors must be at least 16 years of age, weigh at least 110 pounds, be in good health and may not have given blood in the past 56 days.
