Officer Katie Kreuser responded to Bray Drive for a report of an assault.

Chief Wes Ellison investigated a nuisance complaint on East Main St. 

Officer Joe Barnhouse responded to a report of suspicious circumstances on State Route 137.

Officer Barnhouse attempted to stop two dirt bikes riding recklessly on city streets. The dirt bikes failed to yield and fled from officers. Per policy, the city officers did not pursue the dirt bikes but will continue to investigate the incident to locate the riders and charge them accordingly.

August 21

Officer Barnhouse conducted a pedestrian check on Corn Ave. 

Officer Joe Barnhouse responded to a report of suspicious circumstances on Welch Drive.

August 23

Officer McGinnis and Lt. Zeller responded to Garfield and Fourth Streets for a physical disturbance. 

August 24

Officer Hedlesten responded to a report of a suspicious person on East Main St. 

Officer McGinnis conducted a traffic stop on US Hwy 60/63 and found the driver to have outstanding warrants. 

August 25

Deputy Chief Boyle assisted Children’s Division on Railroad Drive with an investigation.

Deputy Chief Boyle and Officer McGinnis responded to a hit-and-run accident on State Route 76. This incident is still under investigation. 

Officer McGinnis responded to a verbal domestic. He invoked the 12 hour rule to the party involved. 

Deputy Chief Boyle responded to a report of trespassing on Sunshine Drive. 

August 26

Sgt. Hocking assisted the fire department on Horak Drive. 

Lt. Zeller and Officer Clark conducted wellbeing checks on Sunshine Drive. 

Sgt. Hocking responded to East High St for a physical domestic altercation. 

Sgt. Hocking responded to reports of suspicious circumstances on East Third St. and State Route 137.

Lt. Zeller assisted the Missouri State Highway Patrol and an individual posting bond on an outstanding warrant.
