Constitution Week proclaimed in West Plains

On Friday, Aug. 21 West Plains Mayor Mike Topliff proclaimed the week of Sept. 17 through Sept. 23 of 2026 as Constitution Week. Public law 915 guarantees that each year it must be proclaimed to honor the Constitution of the United States. The Constitution was drafted and finished 250 years ago on September 17th 1776. Members of the Josiah Howell Chapter of the Sons of American Revolution were present for the proclamation.
