Billy D. Guilliams

Funeral services for Billy D. Guilliams, 85, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 14, in the Rose Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Guilliams passed away at 10:56 a.m., Saturday, July 9, 2022, at his home.
He was born August 5, 1936 at Weed, New Mexico, to Willie Anderson Guilliams and Hester Belle Youngblood Guilliams. He lived in New Mexico until moving to West Plains, Missouri with his family at the age of sixteen. He then helped his father run a dairy farm and raised beef cattle for several years. After the dairy farm was sold, Billy worked for Clyde Stewart for over thirty-five years running a bulldozer. He was well-known for his expertise in operating a bulldozer. He was highly recommended by landowners that Mr. Bill was the man you wanted to work on their land. His work ethics and experience brought him to Texas, and he operated bulldozers in the oil fields in the Panhandle of Texas for many years. He was married to Ruby Croney in November 1956 at West Plains, Missouri, and in their union they had four children. He later married Virginia Riley in May 2002 at Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
Survivors include Cathy Stone Roberts and husband, Richard, West Plains, Missouri, Brenda Guilliams, Chestnut Ridge, Missouri, Sharon Harrill Burton and husband, Alvin, Ava, Missouri, and Leisha Patrick and husband, Rod, Highlandville, Missouri; ten grandchildren, Fred Stone, Kyle Stone, Marlana Taylor, Cody Taylor, Clint Taylor, Amy Vonallmen, Amber Brotherton, Justin Harrill, Dustin Harrill, and Billie Busby; eighteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn Mefford and husband, Amon, West Plains, Missouri; and his significant other, Emily Durnell.
His wife, parents, six brothers and sisters, and one son-in-law, Michael Wayne Harrill, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, in the Rose Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be at Howell Valley Cemetery.
