BreAnna Lynn Lovan

BreAnna Lynn Lovan, age 30, of Willow Springs, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022. She was born August 4, 1991, to Barry Newman and Janet (Fine) Ary. She was joined together in marriage to Jeff Lovan on July 8, 2012.
Bree had a smile that was bigger than life and inspired everyone she encountered. Her faith and relationship with the Lord was, without a doubt, the most important thing to Bree. Her biggest earthly passions were her family, friends, and kids! Bree was a second-grade teacher at the Willow Springs School where she impacted all that she came in contact with. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed camping trips to the lake and mountains, and vacations to Hawaii. Bree was a lifelong member of Westside Family Life Center.
She was blessed with almost five additional years of life thanks to her incredibly generous stem cell donors, her brother, Justin Newman, and Ozgur “Ozzy” Budak.
During Bree’s time at Barnes Jewish Hospital, she brought a mountain of joy and inspiration to all those around her. She also developed a friendship with many doctors, nurses, and other patients. Bree loved many of them but developed an extremely close bond with Dr. Amanda Cashen; nurse practitioners, Emily Kemp and Rebecca Petersen; nurses, Megan McKern, Jana Ballenger, and Lindsey McIntyre.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff Lovan; father, Barry Newman and wife, Mary; mother, Janet (Fine) Ary and husband, Steve; brother, Justin Newman and wife, Allie; sister, Chelsea Newman; brother, Payden Newman and wife, Jocy; nephew, Eugene Andrew; and grandparents, Duane Fine and wife, Carolyn. She was proceeded in death by Baby Lovan and her grandparents, Bob and Margaret Newman.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, at Munford Gymnasium, Willow Springs, Missouri, with Scott Foster and Clayton Lile officiating, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Willow Springs. Visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m., on Friday, May 13, at Westside Family Life Center, Willow Springs. Interment was in Pine Grove Cemetery, Willow Springs. The family requested that graveside services be limited to family only. Please make memorial donations to the Bree Lovan Memorial Education Center. Proceeds can be dropped off at the Willow Springs School or West Plains Bank and Trust in Willow Springs. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
