Bryan Paul Medwid

On Monday, Aug 2, 2021, at 4:15 p.m., Bryan Paul Medwid, loving husband, father and grandfather, went home to be with the Lord at the age of 47. He was surrounded by family at St. Joseph Hospital, St. Charles, Mo. Bryan was born in Elmhurst, Ill., to Michael and Paulette (McGlaughlin) Medwid on September 16, 1973. He was united in marriage to Cary Ann Puckett on February 14, 2001, in Olathe, Kan.
Bryan was one of a kind. He never met a stranger and was willing to help anyone, whether he knew them or not. He put everyone else’s comfort first. Even when exhausted at the end of the day, he would gather up what was left of himself and always make time for his family and others. His smile and laugh were contagious as he lived life to its fullest. He was funny and intelligent. He was known for his integrity and generosity. He was one of the kindest, most hard-working Christian men we had the honor of knowing.
In 2011 Bryan and Cary established Elite Aire in Willow Springs, Mo. He took pride in his work and loved serving the community. Employees and customers were treated like friends and family.
Bryan was passionate about his family, and was so proud of his children and each of their accomplishments. He was there to support and enjoy each one, from his son in the Navy, another in motocross, his daughters in dance, or when taking them to the lake. He loved spending every free moment with his family and friends. We are grateful for the memories we have of him and take comfort knowing that he is now with the Lord, waiting to greet us in heaven with open arms and his amazing smile.
He leaves behind his wife of 20 years, Cary; four children Alex (Lindsay), Kole, Hannah, and Faith; one grandson, Luka Medwid; parents Michael & Paulette Medwid; siblings, Michael Medwid, David Medwid, and Terry (John)Anderson; and nephews and nieces Michaela Medwid, David (Cassidy) Medwid, Ruby Medwid, Jordan Medwid, Logan Medwid, and Michael Medwid.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 18, 2021, at the Genesis Church in West Plains, Mo., with Pastor Rick George officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be mailed to 813 Willow Road, Willow Springs, Mo., 65793.
