CHELSEY RENEE DEPRIEST

Chelsey Renee DePriest, 34, of Birch Tree, Missouri was born on July 3, 1987, the daughter of John Oddis and Frankie Pauline (Hardwood) Ellis. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 19, 2021, surrounded by her loved ones.
Chelsey is survived by her husband, Cole; three children, Levi, Gracyn, and Macyn DePriest all of the home; parents, John and Frankie Ellis; sister and brother-in-law, Shelli and Simon Gatewood; nephews, Cooper and Bowen Gatewood all of Alton, MO; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kevin and Michele Foster of Mountain View, MO; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sheldon and Janetta DePriest of Birch Tree, MO; grandma, Joyce Ellis of Alton, MO; and aunt, Tammie Ellis of Alton, MO.
She is preceded in death by her grandpas, John Ellis, Sr. and Robert James Lewis DePriest; grandma, Dessie Sarah DePriest; and grandparents, Tom and Nadine Hardwood.
Chelsey had a passion for living life. She knew how to make adventure out of the big and small things in life. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was fiercely committed to taking care of the people she loved. Her biggest ambition was to be a mother, which she did with excellence and delight. Her contagious smile brought joy to those around her. She always brought laughter to a room. Her strength came from a place of deep love and kindness and never force. She was quick to forgive and full of love. She was a loyal friend and deeply loved by those who knew her. Her faith in and love for God is unmatched, always bringing people closer to him.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 28 at 5:00 p.m. at her home 7825 N MO 99 Birch Tree MO 65438. Cremation arrangements were made under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Birch Tree.
