A celebration of life service for David DeWayne Hayes, Sr., 54, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 26, at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Hayes was born on September 8, 1971, in Mountain View, Missouri, to Lloyd Norman Hayes and Glenda Marie Ford. David passed away on May 20, 2026, at Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains, Missouri. He was universally admired, possessed remarkable building skills, and cherished numerous memories of time spent with family and friends. David was always willing to lend a helping hand and resided in West Plains for his entire adult life.
He is survived by his sister, Jessica Anne McCarty; two sons, David DeWayne Hayes, Jr. and Cristifur Lee Hayes; one daughter, Emma May Hayes;and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and many close family members.
