Deborah "Debbie" A. Majors

Deborah "Debbie" A. Majors was born in Oceanside, California. Her father served in the military, so Debbie's family moved throughout the nation during her early years. She was raised in Gideon, Missouri, where her roots remained an important part of her life.

On April 15, 1990, Debbie married the love of her life, Jimmy Majors, at her mother's home. Their ceremony was performed by the same preacher who had married her mother and father. Debbie and Jimmy later moved to Nashville, Tennessee, for work. After retiring, they made their home in West Plains, Missouri, in 2004.

Debbie was a fantastic cook and seamstress. She especially loved traveling with Jimmy, and together they visited 40 states, Canada, and Mexico. Above all, Debbie was a loving wife and mother whose kindness, devotion, and love will be remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Jimmy Majors, of the family home; her mother, Norma Willoughby of Gideon, Missouri; two sons, Jack Meese of Florida and James Meese of Arkansas; two sisters, Christina Willoughby of Gideon, Missouri, and Barbara Price of Evanston, Indiana; as well as many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Herman Willoughby.

This is not the end. As Debbie and Jimmy always said to each other, "Love you later." They will be reunited in the future, and Debbie will remain always in the hearts and souls of those who loved her. She will be dearly missed and loved forever.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be determined.
