Elza Lynn Heavin

Elza Lynn Heavin, 63, of Mountain View, Missouri passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri. He was born July 31, 1957, to Elza Lee and Juanita Jane (Risher) Heavin in Mountain View, Missouri.
 
Elza leaves behind his wife Brenda of the family home; one son, Gary Marler and wife Emma of Mountain View, MO; two daughters, Laura Heavin and fiancé Larry Lane of West Plains, MO and Kimberly Dawn Heavin of Mountain View, MO; one half-sister, Imogene Cornman of  Mountain View, MO; five grandchildren, Thomas Marler, Nicholas Rosenbum, Kathryn Rosenbum, Tyler Russell, Melanie Sheets; and one great-grandchild, Jaxton Cook.
 
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elza Lee and Juanita Jane Heavin; two brothers, James Dale Heavin and Ira Lee Heavin; and two half-sisters.
 
Elza was a real outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing, and like to work on cars. He also loved Nascar and wrestling, but most of all he took great pride in his grandkids and loved spending time with them and his family.
 
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2021, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Willow Springs, Missouri, with Pastor Brett Randall officiating, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Willow Springs, Missouri.
 
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:00-1:00 p.m. also at the church. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Teresita, Missouri. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
