Everette M. McCormick

Everette M. McCormick, 56 of Cabool, MO passed away on Thursday morning, October 1, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born on April 5, 1964 in Fayetteville, AR the son of Charles and Barbara (Crowl) McCormick.

 

Everette grew up in West Fork, AR and graduated form West Fork High in 1982.  He moved with his family to Willow Springs, MO in the early 80’s.

 

Everette was united in marriage to Cheree Frost on March 10, 1995 in Highland, AR.  They had and raised 7 children.  He was employed by Wilbert Vault Company, Glens Propane and Caterpillar for his working years.  He enjoyed working on cars as well as detailing cars as side hobbies and purchased, worked on and resold many vehicles.  He also loved spending time with his kids and grandchildren.  One of the greatest joys of his life was being a papa.

 

Everette was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Michael McCormick; his granddaughters, Rylee Collins, Madison and McKenzie Sigman and his paternal and maternal grandparents.  He is survived by his loving wife, Cheree of the home; children, Christy Sigman of Pocahontas, AR, Chasta Kempf and husband, Brad of Montgomery City, MO, Carla Blackburn of Pocahontas, AR, Curtis McCormick of Independence, MO, Trevor Sigman and Amanda Sigman of Fernley, NV, Lacey Collins and husband, Preston of Willow Springs, MO and Tyler McCormick of Cabool, MO; 10 grandchildren, Noah, Braden, Gavin, Ashlynn, Zooey, Parker, Addison, Joel, Lucas and Weston; brothers, Charles McCormick and wife, Sandy of Springdale, AR and Sean McCormick and wife, Angela of West Plains, MO; sister, Michelle Brooks of Willow Springs, MO; and a host of other relatives, including many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and a host of friends who will miss him very much.

 

Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at the Lone Star Cemetery near Mtn. Grove, MO with Dennis Lindsay officiating.  Pallbearers were Curtis McCormick, Tyler McCormick, Preston Collins, Brad Kempf, Aaron McCormick and Leon Singleton.  Honorary pallbearers were Trevor Sigman, Blake McCormick, Ivan Arthur, Chuck Gallagher, Bruce Whanger, Bob Brill, Eddie Frost and Catlin Friend.  Interment was in the Lone Star Cemetery under the direction of Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home of Cabool, MO.  Online condolences may be made at www.egcfuneralhome.com.
