Graveside services for Glen Nelson Wake, 76, Pottersville, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Old Horton Cemetery, Howell County, Missouri.
He was born the son of the late Lewis Wake and Essie Collins Wake, on September 21, 1946 in Siloam Springs, Missouri and died October 25, 2022 in Pottersville, Missouri.
He was united in marriage November 14, 1964 in Twin Bridges, Missouri to Violet Carter.
He is survived by his wife, Violet Carter Wake, of the home, Pottersville, Missouri; three children, Lewis Wake and wife Debbie, Mountain View, Missouri, Maria Pliler and Dale Wake, Pottersville, Missouri; five grandchildren, Jasper Burchett and wife Shaina, state of Alaska, Sawyer Wake, Mountain View, Missouri, Hailey Pliler and Jarrad Pliler, West Plains, Missouri, and Jessica Erzinger and husband Tyrell, Ft. Drum, New York, and five great grandchildren, three sons of Jasper and Shaina; Deagan Lashley, and Laxton Shinberger, West Plains, Missouri; three sisters, Lavon Pliler, Joplin, Missouri, Edna Storms, Mountain View, Missouri, and Marilyn Howell and husband Dalton of West Plains, Missouri; many nieces and nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Vetrus Bruffet, Neva McCrackin, and Virginia Strickland and two sisters in infancy, and two brothers, E.J. Wake and Eddie Wake.
