Jackie Edwin Whited

Jackie "Jack" Edwin Whited passed away at Texas County Memorial Hospital at 9:45 P.M. on July 10, 2021, surrounded by his family.
Jack was born October 28, 1938, to Marvin Ralph Whited and Minnie Opal (McCart) Whited in Texas County, Missouri and was the youngest of six children. He graduated from Willow Springs High School in 1956 and was the president of the FFA Chapter.
Jack was married to Marge Haddock October 26, 1957, and they enjoyed 64 years together. Jack worked at Conaway Winter Shoe Factory until his retirement. He loved to bowl with Marge and the couple played in leagues where they won several trophies. Jack played fast pitch soft ball and there is a basement full of trophies proving how great he was at the sport. Jack was a devout Christian and attended church at Cabool General Baptist Church in Cabool, Missouri. Jack was a devoted, loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. The grandchildren and great-grandchildren loved going to Grandma and Grandpa's house because they always made them feel like they were the most special people in the world.
Jack is survived by one brother, Joe Whited; two sisters, Lois Holdt and Betty Grogan; and one brother-in-law, Charles Haddock and wife, Donna. He is further survived by his daughter, Jackie Williamson and husband, Scott; two granddaughters, Nici Brotherton and husband, Eric; and Chelsea Bittick and husband, Gary; nine great-grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Jase, Jenson, Zoe, Aria, Keagan, Kaegan, and Khloe; and numerous extended family.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Marge; his parents; one sister, Faye Seiber, one brother, George Alvin "Bud" Whited, and his great-grandson, Cooper Dale Bittick.
The family will hold a private burial service. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 31, at Cabool General Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Willow Care Activities Resident Christmas Fund or YMCA Strong Y Fund in memory of Cooper Bittick.
