James Lawrence Cline

James Lawrence Cline, a resident of Cabool, MO, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021 while at Willow Care Nursing Home in Willow Springs. He was born November 19, 1934 in Keenesburg, CO to John Albert and Moine Eva (Turner) Cline and was 86 years old.

James grew up and attended school in Pine Junction, CO. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force from February 1957 to February 1962. While in the military, he loaded munitions on airplanes. On May 11, 1961 he married Tommie Joe Manor in Wheatridge, CO, and to this union 3 children were born. James was a Master Electrician and was employed at Intermountain Electric for over 30 years before he retired in the year 2000. James and Tommie then moved to Missouri because they said it was too costly to live in Denver. When he was not working, James spent his time raising cattle and doing woodworking. He built a miniature train set and track as well as a miniature stagecoach; however, his greatest woodworking accomplishments were furniture, including full-sized bedroom sets for his family. James will be dearly missed by his family, his friends, and all who knew him.

James was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: John, Albert, and Norman; and his sister, Margie.

He is survived by his wife, Tommie; his children: Debbie Zurn, Deb Jacks, J.T. Botts, John Cline, Tara Hull, and Crissa Airrik. He is further survived by 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations in James' memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 9370 Olive Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63132 or they may be left at the funeral home.
