Jimmy Wayne Brake

Jimmy Wayne Brake was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on December 2, 1961, to George Henry and Elsie (Smotherman) Brake. He left this earth for a home in heaven on October 25, 2021.
Jimmy united his life with Emma Lamborn on May 18, 2012. He had three sons and two daughters from previous relationships, and gained three daughters and one son with his union with Emma.
He was saved when he was ten years old and rededicated his life on October 6, 2021. Jimmy drove a truck for many years, was known as U-Turn on the radio. He worked at Missouri Hardwoods for over 20 years. He loved to hunt and fish, which he did often with Emma.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Marie Brake, and Alfred and Jewell Smotherman.
He is survived by Emma of the home; his parents, George and Elsie Brake of Birch Tree, MO; nine children, Julia and Dominic of the home, Levi of Enid, OK, Jordan of Van Buren, MO, Nina Jean of Grand Junction, CO, Lina Kay of Odessa, TX, Tyler of Van Buren, MO, AJ (Clifford) of Moberly, MO, Diana (Zach) of Mountain View, MO; two brothers, Mike (Barb) and Jeff (Kim) both of Birch Tree, MO; one sister, Kristie of Mountain View, MO; seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, October 29 at 3:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Church, Birch Tree, Missouri, with Pastor Jeff Brake officiating, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Birch Tree. Visitation was held prior to the service from 2-3:00 p.m., also at the church. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
