Loraine M. Earith

Loraine May Earith, a resident of Mountain View, passed away while at Mountain View Healthcare on Monday, December 12, 2022. She was born June 30, 1926, to Olen and Willie (Lininegar) Brixey in Ralston, Oklahoma and was 96 years old.
Loraine owned and ran the Small-Town Café in Percival, Iowa. She was also a long-time faithful member of Glorybound Full Gospel Church in Hutton Valley. On August 26, 1942, she married Wayne Leroy Earith in Sidney, Iowa. Serving her community was a highlight of her life, she lovingly volunteered for over 20 years at Munch in Willow Springs.  She loved to spend her time baking, cooking, gardening, and making people happy. She also loved to spend her time with her family; especially, her great-great-grandkids. She was a spry, strong-willed, stubborn, intelligent, snappy, sharp as a tack, and true southern lady! As she used to call herself, "I'm a Hillbilly-Billie and stubborn and tough as a Missouri mule!" She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Olen and Willie; her husband, Wayne; her grandson, William Wayne Hauptman; and her three brothers and two sisters.
Loraine is survived by her son, Don Earith and his wife, Vetrice; her daughter, Barb Benton; her sister, Kay Palmer; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Loraine will be held at 12:00 P.M., Thursday, December 15, at Willow Funeral Home, LLC following with a graveside service at 1:00 P.M., at the Willow Springs City Cemetery with Pastor Don Earith officiating. The family requests that any donations or memorials can be made in Loraine's name and be left at the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Willow Funeral Home, LLC. Online condolences may be left at www.willowspringsfuneralhome.com
