Margie Louise Whited

Margie "Marge" Louise (Haddock) Whited passed away at Texas County Memorial Hospital at 9:20 P.M. on July 9, 2021, surrounded by her family.
Marge was born January 20, 1939, to Harley Harvey Haddock and Lindy Theora (Cunningham) Haddock and was the oldest of four children. As the oldest, she was a caretaker for her younger siblings and continued to fill that role throughout her life.
Marge married Jack Whited on October 26, 1957, and they enjoyed 64 years together. Marge worked at Ben Franklin Dime Store before going to work with Jack at Conaway Winter Shoe Factory, where the couple both worked until their retirement. Jack and Marge played in bowling leagues where they won several trophies. Marge loved shoes, clothes, and jewelry. She was always dressed to impress. Marge was a devout Christian and attended church at Cabool General Baptist Church in Cabool, Missouri.  Marge was a devoted, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. The grandchildren and great-grandchildren loved going to Grandma and Grandpa's house because they always made them feel like they were the most special people in the world.
Marge was survived by her husband by one day. Marge is further survived by one brother, Charles Haddock and wife, Donna; her daughter, Jackie Williamson and husband, Scott; two granddaughters, Nici Brotherton and husband, Eric, and Chelsea Bittick and husband, Gary; nine great-grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Jase, Jenson, Zoe, Aria, Keagan, Kaegan, and Khloe; and numerous extended family.
Marge was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Paul Haddock, and one sister, Wilma May, and her great-grandson, Cooper Dale Bittick.
The family will hold a private burial service. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 31, at Cabool General Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Willow Care Activities Resident Christmas Fund or YMCA Strong Y Fund in memory of Cooper Bittick.
