Mary Etta Webb

Mary Etta Webb was born to Marion Briley and Eloise (Crosby) Briley on May 18th, 1941, in Start, Louisiana. She went to be with the Lord on April 16th, 2022, at Amara Hospice, in McAllen, Texas. Mary was united in marriage to William Webb on August 25th, 1962, and to this union three children were born, Donald, James and Paul. Later in life they gained a daughter, Amanda when she was 18 months old in which they adopted at age 5 through the foster care system. Mary and William had also opened their home for many, many years and fostered 50 plus girls.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion Briley, Eloise Clark, and step father J.W. Clark; sisters, Linda Briley, Dianne Robinson, Rita Lamb, and step sister Hilda Gentry, mother in law, Mildred E Lee Webb, brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Nancy Young and brother in law Kenneth Webb.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, William Webb of Pharr, TX; sons, Donald Webb, James Webb of Goliad, TX, Paul Webb and wife Evana of Oviedo, FL, daughter Amanda Mullins and husband Jeremy of Athens, TN; grandchildren, Alex Webb and wife Jessica, Oleysa Webb, Amelia Webb, Dylan Webb, Simone Webb, Gabriel Mullins and wife Kayla, Noah Mullins, and Selah Mullins; sister, Connie Dove and husband Charles; step brother, Kelly Clark and wife Janice; sister in law Rose Webb, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
Mary was an avid sewer, quilter and loved to craft and also make cakes for any occasion. God gifted her these abilities, amongst giving her the heart to foster so many children and teen girls who she taught her sewing abilities, and life tasks to. She loved each child as if they were hers biologically and always wanted to make sure each one felt special. Mary loved her church and loved Jesus and was always happy to tell people the many good things God had done through out her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
