PAUL MATTHEW McCLELLAN

Paul Matthew McClellan was born the second son of Bobbie and Sue McClellan on October 12, 1966, in Mountain View, MO and returned to be with the Lord on October 12, 2021. He was 55 years old.
A graduate of Willow Springs High School Class of 1985, Paul would further his education after service in the United States Navy, receiving his MBA in Business Administration from Dallas Baptist University. While in the Navy he would meet, love, and eventually marry Rosie Ablay in 1992, here in Willow Springs. Together they were married over twenty years and raised daughters, Sara and Robielyn in Dallas, TX. From being an engineer at Texas Instruments to entrepreneur as Owner-Operator of Southwest Carriers, Paul was always a self-made man with a fiercely independent, hard-working spirit. When not working, he enjoyed the outdoors and held interests in hunting, fishing, and sailing. It was the mutual love of horseback riding that led to finding companionship and happiness with Wendy Neely until the end.
Paul is survived by his parents, Bobbie and Sue McClellan; his brother, Joe McClellan and his wife, Sylvia; daughter, Robielyn Joy, daughter by marriage, Sara and her husband, Kyle Kimmons; nieces: Audrey, Katelyn, and Hope McClellan; grandchildren: Avery Joy McClellan, Malcolm Jude McClellan, Madielyn Rose Kimmons, and Everett Kimmons.
Paul was one of a kind, all his own, and will be sorely missed and well-remembered by all who were fortunate enough to have been in his life and to have been able to call him a friend.
A visitation for Paul McClellan will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021, from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. with the funeral service immediately following at 2:00 P.M. at Willow Funeral Home, LLC, with Pastor Marcus Allen officiating. Interment will be at the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery in Pomona with full military honors. Arrangements are under the direction of Willow Funeral Home, LLC.
