Paul was born on December 17, 1924, at his home near Bakersfield, Missouri to Noah Miller and Myrtie Halford Miller. He graduated from Bakersfield High School, and after graduation Paul enlisted into the United States Army in 1944 where he served most of his time in Japan and was discharged in 1946.  When he returned home he married Wilma "Roxie" Kesner at Mountain Home, Arkansas on April 7, 1947. He loved spending time with his family and many friends from all of the churches where he pastored. Paul was the happiest when all his family was together. He loved to travel with his family and share his memories with them. Paul was the cornerstone of his family and raised all of his children and grandchildren to have trust and faith in God, and that He would always supply their needs, and He did. Paul's primary goal in life was to tell people about Christ and how wonderful Christ is and how He could change their lives and give them peace and contentment.  He taught his family to love everyone and to lend a helping hand.
