COMMUNITY VOICE

The Club's request for help with its winter Swag making workshop was answered in spades. The festiveness of the City is a testament to what can be accomplished when a community pulls together. The Club has held these pre-holiday workshops for over 30 years and is extremely grateful for the 30 plus volunteers who provided help over the 3 day period. We'd like to express special thanks to: the team from Whetstone Boys Ranch who laid the tarps, set up the tables/chairs, covered the tables and helped to bring in the greenery as it was delivered; to the group of FFA and BETA students, from Liberty High School, who removed all of the tarps, tables and chairs. Additionally, thank you to all who got out in the brutal temperatures to cut and deliver the greenery to the Center. Finally to Phil Pelc and Braydon Cornman, from the City, for hanging the 100 Swags around the City.
