This letter is written to the Willow Springs Chamber of Commerce to congratulate them on the spectacular parade and the Spirit of 1776 program held on July 4th in Willow Springs. It is especially meaningful to me that they were willing to carry on this monumental task on very short notice. They managed to organize an exceptionally long and high-spirited parade that was well received by the spectators who lined the streets with big smiles on their faces.
After the parade they, along with Avery and Wendy Parker, presented an hour of historic characters in the Star Theatre to honor all veterans. I believe we all left the theatre with feelings of pride and honor to the great USA.
A big thank you to Kim McCormick and her team who made Willow Springs shine again.
