Thumbs Up / Thumbs Down

Thumbs up for everyone locally who steps up and supports St. Jude Children Research Hospital. I know we all live check to check, and every little donation adds up.

Thumbs down to the impractical and unattractive parklet on Courthouse Square in West Plains. There are a lot of great things improving downtown, but not this.

Thumbs up to the members of American Legion Post 384 and their helpers for the beautiful flag display provided at the Willow Springs City Cemetery every Memorial Day, Independence Day and Veteran's Day.

Thumbs up to Jane and Wendell Bailey, the original organizers of our July 4th Parade 30+ years ago.
