Deputy Koleman McDaniel responded to an address on County Road 8970 in regards to a possible domestic incident.
April 30
Corporal Rick Fox responded to County Road 6650 in reference to an unresponsive individual. Officers found an occupant deceased. At this time, no foul play is suspected.
Sergeant Seth Smith received a call for service of a runaway juvenile on State Route VV in Brandsville. They located the juvenile and this incident is closed.
May 1
Howell County Deputies traveled to a residence on Private Road 5080 in Pomona to execute an arrest warrant on a male subject. Investigation determined that the subject barricaded himself inside the residence and would not comply with commands. Howell County SWAT units arrived and less lethal munitions were attempted in order to gain compliance. Howell County SWAT eventually made entry into the residence and located the subject inside a furnace. During the arrest process officers located a suspected substance on his person.

Deputy First Class Melanie Roam received a report of tampering.
May 3
Deputy Jacob Hamby responded to State Route KK in Pottersville in regards to assisting Children's Division. This case is under investigation.
Deputy Austin Ryan received a report of an auto theft in the area of Hutton Valley. The victim stated someone stole then crushed it, leaving it at a scrap yard in Mountain View. This case is still under investigation.
Sergeant Seth Smith received a call of trespassing on Lanton Road.
Deputy Hunter Ward responded to an alleged verbal domestic on County Road 5390. Both parties agreed to separate for the night. They both expressed their intent to pursue civil remedies.

Deputy McDaniel responded to County Road 9100 regarding a call from an individual stating that their mother passed away.
