August 17
The Howell County SWAT team executed a search warrant on a residence located near
Koshkonong. They secured the residence and released the scene to Howell County Investigations Division.
Deputy Michael Pauly received a call for a VIN verification on County Road 1120, West Plains.
Deputy Avery Stolba spoke with an individual who wanted to report domestic abuse. The victim did not wish to pursue charges, and he provided her with available resources.
Deputy Pauly received a call for child abuse. He completed an investigation and closed the report as unfounded.
August 18
Deputy Cody Voyles conducted a warrant arrest on Redburn Dr. at The Heights in West Plains.
Deputy Stolba conducted a warrant arrest at an address on State Route PP in West Plains.
DFC Jordon Collins conducted an ID/OD VIN verification at the Howell County Sheriff's Office.
Corporal Jacob Hamby and Deputy Cody Voyles received a call for child abuse case and to assist Children’s Division with an investigation.
Lieutenant Seth Smith assisted with a call for service regarding a suicidal individual on County Road 9470. They later transported the individual by EMS to the hospital for an evaluation.
Sergeant Travis Weaver responded to area of County Road 3440 in Mountain View for the report of a trespass.
Deputy Stolba conducted a warrant arrest at an address on Ginger St., West Plains.
August 19
Deputy Franklin Nesbitt, responded to a disturbance at a residence on County Road 6970. No further law enforcement activity is needed at this time.
Deputy Franklin Nesbitt responded to a residence on County Road 1280 in response to a report of a suspect making threats with a firearm. The victim does not wish to pursue charges at this time.
Deputy First Class Michael Lewis received a call to assist Children's Division at County Road 2150, Pomona.
Deputy First Class Lewis spoke with an individual in the lobby of the Howell County Sheriff's Office, who wished to report a violation of a full order of protection.
August 20
Deputy Nesbitt spoke with an individual in the lobby of the Howell County Sheriff's Office, wishing to report fraudulent activity on their bank account.
Lieutenant Seth Smith made a warrant arrest on County Road 8290 in West Plains. An investigation found a vehicle involved in the incident had been stolen. Charges for stealing a
motor vehicle have been sent to the prosecuting attorney.
Deputy Nesbitt spoke with an individual in the lobby of the Howell County Sheriff's Office to report identity theft. No further law enforcement activity is requested 
Corporal Reid spoke with a subject in the lobby of the Howell County Sheriff's Office in reference to a child custody dispute.by the victim.
Deputy First Class Austin DeShazo spoke with an individual in the lobby of the Howell County Sheriff's Office who wished to report stealing. An investigation discovered the victim mailed a check to a business, but in transit someone stole the check. He found the check forged and cashed in Texas. This case is active pending further investigation.
August 21
Deputy Nesbitt spoke with an individual in the lobby of the Howell County Sheriff’s Office who requested VIN verification for a vehicle.
Deputy Tyler West responded to a report of stealing in the area of County Road 8800. This case will remain pending due to an ongoing investigation.
August 22
Deputy West responded to the area of County Road 4620 for a report of a disturbance in progress. All parties were provided with domestic violence resources and advised of the Missouri 12-hr rule.
Deputy Nesbitt spoke with an individual in the lobby at the Howell County Sheriff's Office wishing to report a mental health event. No law enforcement action is required at this time.
Deputy Vice took a fraud report to satisfy the request of the victim's bank.
Deputy West responded to the area of County Road 3440, Mountain View for a report of animal abuse. His investigation found all animals located safely.
August 23
Corporal Hamby received a call for service in the lobby of the Sheriff's Office in regards to harassment and threatening statements.
Deputy Stolba conducted a warrant arrest at an address on County Road 2380, Pomona.
Deputy Stolba spoke with an individual who wanted to report harassment.
Deputy Stolba conducted a warrant arrest at an address on County Road 6070, West Plains.
