January 17
Deputy James Wardrip responded to US Highway 160 for an unresponsive person. He called a funeral home to the residence. 
January 18
Deputy First Class Seth Smith received a call on County Road 2720 in Willow Springs of a domestic assault. Formal charges are pending. 
Deputy Dylan Webb assisted with a dispute between a rental business and a landlord. A report will be forwarded to the West Plains Police Department for follow up. 
January 19
Deputy John Thomas took a report of shots fired on County Road 3080 in Mountain View. Charges were filed with the prosecutor’s office. 
January 20
Deputy Webb responded to the county line in Caulfield for a report of disturbance between family members. Neither party wished to pursue charges. 
Deputy Michael Pauly received a call of an active shooter on County Road 2660 and County Road 3370 in Willow Springs. 
January 21
Deputy Webb took a report from a parent of a juvenile who had left the residence without permission. The juvenile returned and left again for two days. The parent requested a referral to the Juvenile Office.
Deputy Melanie Roam received a call of a missing 4-year-old child. Deputies Brian Jackson and Talon Millard responded to County Road 1480 in Peace Valley with Peace Valley Fire Department. They located the child and returned them to the father. A report will be forwarded to Department of Social Services and Children’s Division. 
January 22
Deputy Millard along with Deputy Jackson responded to County Road 2670 for a vehicle damaged by tire spikes placed in the roadway on County Road 3400.
Deputy Jared Hummel took a report of a possible violation of an order of protection. Charges will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor.
