Deputy First Class Tessa Jens spoke with an individual in reference to stolen medication. At this time, there are no known suspects.
Deputy First Class Jens received a report regarding an incident related to child custody.
Undersheriff Justin Riley spoke with an individual reporting a license plate on a family member’s vehicle that had been removed.
June 11
Deputy Hunter Ward initiated a traffic stop on County Road 3500 in Mountain View. He placed both subjects under arrest for active warrants. This case will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutors
Office.
June 12
Cpl. Logan Wake spoke with an individual reporting a possible sexual abuse incident. An investigation is ongoing.
Corporal Travis Weaver responded to area of US Highway 160 in West Plains for the report of a domestic incident. He located the suspect and transported them to the Howell County Adult Detention Center pending formal charges Domestic Assault in the fourth degree and endangering the welfare of the child second degree.
June 13
Deputy First Class James Wardrip attempted a traffic stop with a black car for failing to stop at a stop sign in Mountain View. A report will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
Deputy Avery Stolba responded to County Road 6090 in West Plains in reference to an individual wanting to file a report for sexual misconduct. This case is under investigation.
June 14
Corporal Nicholas Bruno responded to a residence on Ozark Street in reference to a scam.
Deputy Robert Malone received a report of a domestic assault. Investigation led to the arrest of the primary aggressor.
