Deputy Dylan Webb responded to County Road 6410 regarding a dog chasing livestock and pets. He made contact with the reporting party as well as the dog owner.
Corporal Nicholas Bruno responded to County Road 1180 regarding a damaged mailbox. Investigation showed that the mailbox had been damaged by fireworks. The investigation is ongoing.

Deputy Talon Millard reported that during routine patrol a deer ran into the path of his vehicle causing an accident.
February 1
Deputy James M. Wardrip responded to a residence on State Route DD near Willow Springs for a death investigation. The incident in closed.
February 2
While attempting civil service process in Brandsville, Deputy Devon Mendenhall encountered a juvenile at a residence under the influence of marijuana and not under adult supervision. He made contact with Children's Division and the Juvenile Office which both responded on scene and took custody of four juveniles.
February 3
Deputy D. Millard responded to County Road 5130 for a stolen tractor. He collected evidence at the scene and the matter is under investigation.
February 4
Deputy Webb responded to US Hwy 160 for a report of a protection order violation. The suspect left the area, but Deputy Webb observed them driving by. A report will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor’s Office for possible charges.
