Calls for Service
January 7
Deputy Jordon Collins responded to a residence on County Road 1280 in West Plains for a report of a sex offense. This case will be forwarded to the Criminal Investigations Division for further follow-up.
Deputy Hunter Ward received notice of a burglary on County Road 3370 in Mountain View. This case will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutors Office.
January 8
Sergeant Seth Smith took a report of property damage on State Route AB near West Plains.
Deputy Austin Ryan responded to the area of County Road 2150 in Pomona in reference to a runaway juvenile. Officers later found the juvenile and returned them home.
Deputy Ward took a report of property damage on North US Hwy 63 in Pomona.
Sgt. Smith spoke to a subject on County Road 8970 reporting property damage.
January 9
Deputy First Class Melanie Roam arrested an individual on an outstanding warrant.
Sergeant Smith received information regarding a stolen vehicle. Officers located the vehicle a short time later at Alligator Jacks gas station on US highway 160 West. They took the suspect into custody and transported them the Howell County Adult Detention Center. Officers later released the subject from custody pending formal charges from the Thayer Police Department.
Deputy Stolba took a report of a violation of an order of protection.
January 10
Deputy Stolba took a report of a child custody issue.
January 11
Deputy First Class Robert Malone responded to South Fork for a domestic incident. 
Deputy First Class Brandon Meachum responded to State Route CC for a report of domestic disturbance. No charges will be filed.
