January 13
Deputy Hunter Ward took a report of property damage on County Road 1050 in Willow Springs.
Corporal Travis Weaver responded to Conley's Quick Stop in Pomona for the report of a theft. He arrested one subject. Formal charges for misdemeanor stealing will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
January 14
Deputy First Class Talon Millard responded to a call of domestic incident on County Road 8040 near West Plains. They took the suspect into custody and placed on a 24-hour hold for domestic assault, unlawful possession of a firearm, and kidnapping pending formal charges and review from the Howell County Prosecutor's Office.
Deputy Nicholas Barslow responded to a call for service at the Howell County Sheriff's shooting range located in Willow Springs He took a report of property damage to a vehicle.
January 15
The Howell County SWAT unit executed a search warrant at a residence on Private Road 6922 in West Plains. Officers detained two subjects and turned the scene over to the investigating agency.
Cpl. Dylan Webb assisted with a search warrant where officers recovered various stolen road signs. The signs will be returned to the Missouri Department of Transportation, Missouri Department of Conservation and Howell County Road and Bridge.
Corporal Nicholas Bruno responded to a residence on County Road 7960 in reference to a domestic disturbance. This case is under investigation at this time.
January 16
Deputy First Class Brandon Meachum responded to County Road 5610 for a report of peace disturbance.
Deputy Robert Malone responded to a residence on East US Hwy. 160 for a stealing call.
January 17
Corporal Thomas responded to a call of an abandoned vehicle on CC Hwy In West Plains. They had the vehicle towed to the Howell County Sheriff's Office in order to inventory the abandoned truck.
Deputy First Class Meacham responded to Silver Springs RV Park for a domestic incident. A Probable Cause Affidavit will be sent to the Howell County Prosecutors Office.
January 18
Deputy First Class Malone responded to a possible burglary on County Road 6710 in West Plains.
Deputy Chancey Hambelton responded to Caulfield for a disturbance. The report will be sent to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney for further review.
Deputy First Class Meachum conducted a theft investigation at a residence off US Highway 63 south of Willow Springs. This case will be open at this time.
