Incidents 
March 1
A theft was reported at a residence on County Road 2010. 
A domestic disturbance was reported at a residence on County Road 1510. No criminal charges were filed. 
A male was arrested at his residence on State Route AD on a grand jury warrant. 
March 2
An assault was report at a residence on County Road 1540. The case remains under investigation. 
A 12-year-old female was found walking on State Route Z in Willow Springs. The juvenile stated that she was suicidal and was released into the care of her mother to be taken to Ozarks Healthcare. 
A woman reported that her ex-boyfriend violated a protection order by calling her. Charges have been filed. 
March 3
A domestic assault was reported on County Road 8620 in West Plains. A suspect was located and arrested. Charges are pending. 
The theft of a firearm was reported on Cloud 9 Drive. 
A driver was issued a citation for exceeding the posted speed limit on U.S. Highway 63. 
A female driver was cited for driving while suspended, after a traffic stop was conducted on U.S. Highway 63. The woman was observed driving dangerously slow in the passing lane. 
Two people were taken into custody on active warrants during a search warrant execution on Private Road 6922. Two other subjects were released, pending lab analysis on suspected methamphetamine and numerous items of drug paraphernalia found at the scene. 
March 4
A controlled substance and drug paraphernalia were found in a vehicle during a traffic stop on South Thayer Avenue in West Plains. The driving was arrested for driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance. 
A domestic disturbance was reported at a residence on 8240. The involved parties were separated for the night. 
Assistance was given after a subject fled from officers near Utah Avenue in West Plains. The male subject was apprehended by officers after a short foot chase. 
A driver was cited for driving while suspended during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 63. 
March 5
Items were reported stolen from a vehicle on Private Road 2016. 
March 6
Illegal narcotics were located in a vehicle during a traffic stop on State Route N in Pomona. A male subject was taken into custody at the scene. 
March 7
A domestic disturbance was reported at a residence on County Road 3250 in Peace Valley. A male subject at the scene discharged a firearm several times at the scene after deputies had responded. Deputies were able to remove a female subject and children from the home and get them to safety before the male subject returned to the residence. The male was taken into custody after additional law enforcement, including members of the West Plains Police Department and Howell County SWAT Team responded to the scene. The male faces multiple charges, including domestic assault, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action.
