Incidents 
March 8
A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a company vehicle at the Great Rivers Distributing warehouse in Pomona. The investigation continues. 
Two catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles that were parked on County Road 5290 in Willow Springs. A report was taken. 
A verbal domestic was reported at a residence on County Road 1480 in Peace Valley. 
A report was received of a rape that had occurred on a prior date. The investigation is ongoing. 
March 9
A female subject was arrested on County Road 5120 on an active warrant from Texas County. 
March 10
A domestic disturbance was reported at a residence on County Road 6970. Neither involved party wished to pursue charges. A report was taken. 
A juvenile runaway was reported on County Road 3810. The juvenile was located a short time later and transported to the Howell County Sheriff’s Office to be released to family. 
A stolen vehicle was reported on County Road 7830 in Caulfield. 
March 12
A controlled substance was located inside a residence on Kelly Drive while an arrest warrant was being served. The substance was seized, and the investigation is ongoing. 
March 13
Property damage was reported at a residence on County Road 6690. A report was taken, and the incident is under investigation. 
A report was received of a weapons offense on Paula Drive in West Plains. The suspect allegedly fired a gun into the air, then pointed the gun at the victims as they left in a vehicle. Several neighbors in the area reported hearing a single gunshot. Statements were collected from the victims, and a probable cause statement was forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor for review. 
March 14
A sexual assault involving a juvenile was reported on State Route ZZ. A report was taken, and the incident is under investigation. 
March 15
Two bags of a white crystalline substance were found in a truck that crashed while trying to evade a deputy on County Road 2570. One male subject was arrested at the scene. A passenger in the truck had visible injuries and was turned over to paramedics. The driver declined medical treatment and was transported to the Howell County Sheriff’s Office, pending formal charges. 
A gas drive-off was reported at Cornerco in South Fork. The case remains open. 
A resident on County Road 1600 reported that someone had blown up his mailbox. The investigation continues. 
A traffic stop was conducted on County Road 8490 for obstructing traffic and suspicious activity. The driver was charged with felony driving while suspended. 
March 16
Suspected methamphetamine was found inside a vehicle that had been abandoned during a high-speed pursuit on County Road 1750. The two men who had been inside the vehicle were located in a nearby wooded area and taken into custody. 
A domestic disturbance was reported at a residence on Private Road 6640. 
March 17
A widespread search was initiated after a male juvenile was reported missing. The juvenile wasn’t found during initial searches by family and law enforcement but was finally located several hours later after all local agencies were notified. The boy was returned safely to his home. 
A female subject was arrested during a traffic stop on County Road 2350 for driving while suspended.
