Incidents
July 5
A male subject came to the Sheriff’s Department to report being assaulted by his stepson. The case remains open.
Star Mart in Pomona reported a gas theft. The subject left the station without paying for diesel fuel that he had pumped.
A billing statement was reported stolen from a mailbox on State Route MM in Caulfield.
A female juvenile was found in a wooded area near her home after being reported as a runaway. The girl was located by a canine unit.
A theft was reported on State Route N in Pomona.
July 6
S-Mart on U.S. Highway 160 reported that a male subject stole fuel from the store. Charges were filed after the male was identified.
July 7
A woman reported that someone had stolen the identity of her 17-year-old daughter, along with her banking information, to obtain goods and services. A report was taken, and the matter is under investigation.
July 8
Ozarks Regional Stockyard reported that an individual had purchased eight head of cattle but had not paid the outstanding bill for the cattle. Contact was made with the suspect, and a probable cause form was sent to the county prosecutor.
An individual came to the Sheriff’s Department to report a theft.
A zero-turn mower was reported stolen from a residence on County Road 2100 in Pomona. The matter is under investigation.
After being stopped on Ramseur Road in West Plains for littering, a male driver was cited for being a minor in possession of alcohol. The male was booked and released with a court date next month.
July 9
A deceased female was reported at a residence on County Road 9190 in West Plains. 
A domestic disturbance was reported at a home on County Road 1240. A female subject at the home did not wish to pursue charges against her husband, who had left the residence.
A runaway juvenile was reported on County Road 8680. Contact was made with friends of the teen girl, and the friends returned the girl to her home.
July 10
Property damage was reported on County Road 2350 in Pomona. The suspect was at the residence the prior night, causing a disturbance, prior to causing damage.
Property damage was reported on County Road 1750 in West Plains. A report was taken.
A driver was arrested for driving while revoked during a traffic stop on Jon Street in West Plains.
July 11
A domestic disturbance was reported at a residence on State Route K in West Plains. The involved parties were advised of judicial remedies.
Numerous items, including a four-wheeler, were reported stolen on County Road 5120 in Pomona. The matter is under investigation.
A domestic assault was reported on County Road 5050 in Willow Springs. The female victim, who had visible marks on her, stated that she had been assaulted by her husband. The suspect was arrested and was to be charged with third degree domestic assault. 
July 12
A property owner reported a trespassing incident on State Route MM.
