An individual came to the Sheriff’s Office, wishing to file a report for forgery. The incident is under investigation.
Vehicle tampering was reported on Siloam Springs Road. The investigation continues.
September 20
A resident reported having a package stolen from their porch on County Road 4730. The case is under investigation.
A domestic assault was reported on Illinois Avenue in Brandsville. The suspect, who fled into the woods when a deputy arrived on the scene, will be charged with domestic assault.
A driver was issued citations for exceeding the posted speed limit and failure to register a motorcycle during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 63 in West Plains.
September 21
A fuel theft was reported at Cornerco in South Fork. A license plate number was obtained from the suspect’s vehicle.
September 22
A male subject reported being shot at by someone he knows. While the man did not sustain any injuries, bullet holes were observed on his vehicle. The investigation continues.
September 23
Tools were reported stolen from a vehicle while it was parked outside of a residence on State Route 142 in West Plains.
A domestic disturbance was reported on County Road 8800. The reporting party did not wish to pursue charges.
A domestic assault was reported on County Road 8570. The suspect fled from the scene. Charges are pending.
September 25
An out-of-control juvenile was reported on County Road 6300 near West Plains.
Deputy Nicholas Bruno was involved in a two-vehicle traffic accident on County Road 1360.
