Incidents
September 26
Property damage was reported on County Road 6800 in West Plains. Someone had cut electrical wires and removed the meter box from the utility pole.
September 27
A male subject was cited for exceeding the posted speed limit during a traffic stop on State Route CC.
A female subject was found deceased during a well-being check on County Road 5570 in Willow Springs. 
September 28
A woman came to the Sheriff’s Department to report being harassed by a female subject who had repeatedly made false reports to the Children’s Division about her. Contact was made with the suspect, who agreed to stop filing false reports to the Children’s Division.
A stolen vehicle was found abandoned on County Road 5130. The vehicle was recovered and returned to the owner.
A domestic assault was reported on County Road 3080. One suspect was arrested at the scene. Charges are pending.
September 29
A domestic assault was reported at a residence on U.S. Highway 63 near Pomona. After an investigation, a female subject was taken into custody for domestic assault.
A woman reported that her husband was violating a restraining order. Charges were forwarded to the county prosecutor.
A male subject reported finding his three rabbits deceased.
A handgun was found along the roadside on U.S. Highway 63. The gun was placed into found property evidence.
September 30
A deceased male was reported at a residence on County Road 9240. No foul play is suspected.
A past assault was reported on State Route AB in West Plains. The matter is under investigation.
A male subject reported the violation of a court ordered child custody agreement. Charges were forwarded to the county prosecutor.
October 1
A male subject was arrested for driving while suspended during a traffic stop at Love’s in Willow Springs.
