Incidents
November 23
A male subject was arrested at Love’s truck stop in Willow Springs on two active arrest warrants. 
A gas drive-off was reported at Conley’s in Pomona. A report was taken. 
A report of theft was received from a residence on County Road 4290. 
November 24
A domestic disturbance was reported at a home on Illinois Avenue in Brandsville. Neither involved party wished to pursue charges. 
A death investigation was conducted at a residence on County Road 3850 in Peace Valley. It was determined that the deceased died of natural causes. 
Two female subjects from the Branson area filed a report of child abuse. A hotline call was made. 
Two arrests were made during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 63 in Willow Springs. A man and woman were arrested for possession of a stolen firearm, illegal narcotics and a significant amount of U.S. currency. 
November 25
A domestic disturbance was reported at a residence off U.S. Highway 60 in Willow Springs. Both involved parties were advised of judicial remedies. No charges are being filed. 
Contact was made with a male subject on Private Road 1830 in West Plains who had an active arrest warrant. The man was placed under arrest without incident. 
November 26
A traffic stop was conducted on Private Road 6922 in West Plains. The driver was issued several citations. 
Notification was given by a jailer at the Howell County Jail that an inmate had inflicted harm on herself. 
November 27
Property damage was reported on County Road 2790 in Mountain View. 
A domestic assault was reported at a residence on County Road 2900 in Mountain View. 
November 28
A resident on County Road 8240 in West Plains reported that someone had cut the catalytic converter off of his vehicle. A report was taken. 
A woman reported the violation of an order of protection. A report was taken. 
A woman was arrested during a traffic stop on State Route 14 in West Plains for outstanding Howell County warrants. 
Female inmates at the Howell County Jail were separated in holding cells after an altercation occurred. 
A traffic stop was conducted on U.S. Highway 63 near West Plains for expired registration. The driver was cited for failure to maintain financial responsibility. 
An inmate at the Howell County Jail was found to have a can of chewing tobacco taped between his buttocks, when he was searched. The chewing tobacco was placed in evidence. 
A 19-year-old driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving. The male was seen drifting in and out of his lane of traffic on U.S. Highway 63, near Pomona. 
A driver and passenger were arrested during a traffic stop on Corn Avenue in Willow Springs. The driver had an active Willow Springs Police Department warrant, and the passenger had an active warrant out of Mountain View. 
November 29
A male subject was arrested at his home on active warrants on County Road 6610 in West Plains. 
The Missouri Department of Social Services Children’s Division investigated possible child abuse allegations, with assistance from the Howell County Sheriff’s Office. The incident appears to have been an accident, and no criminal charges were filed.
