Deputy Hunter Ward conducted a traffic stop on County Road 3500 in Mountain View and arrested the driver for possession of a controlled substance This case will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
Cpl. Logan Wake received a report of sexual misconduct involving two juveniles from West Plains Police Department. Investigation found no basis for a crime, and the case will be closed.
Corporal Nicholas Bruno took a report regarding tools stolen from a residence in the Pomona area. This case will be forwarded to the Howell County Sheriff's Office Investigations Division for further investigation.
May 22
Deputy First Class Jared Hummel received a call in reference to an assault. He took one individual into custody for assault in the second degree.
Deputy First Class Dylan Webb received a report of possible sexual abuse of a child. An investigation is ongoing.
May 23
Deputy Talon Millard conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in Pomona. The driver of the vehicle did not have a valid license, license plates, or insurance and Deputy Millard arrested them for driving while intoxicated.
May 25
Deputy Jacob Hamby received a report of stolen trailer plates.
Deputy Avery Stolba responded to the area of county road 6540 in reference to stealing.
Deputy Ward received a report of a possible disturbance on Private Road 6350. Due to the reporting party being unwilling to cooperate with law enforcement this case is closed.
May 26
Corporal Travis Weaver responded to area of US Highway 60 in Mountain View for the report of a property damage. He conducted an investigation and arrested a subject and transported them to the Howell County Adult Detention Center pending formal charges for resisting arrest, tampering with a motor vehicle second degree, and property damage second Degree.

Deputy Stolba responded to the area of county road 2980 in reference to property damage.
