Incidents
January 15
Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance on Rhonda Drive in West Plains. The involved parties had separated prior to the arrival of law enforcement. Both involved parties reported that they were involved in a verbal argument. No charges will be filed. 
January 16
An individual came to the Howell County Sheriff’s Office to report a counterfeit ten-dollar bill. The counterfeit bill was placed into evidence. The investigation continues. 
January 17
A West Plains woman reported that her storage unit had been broken into. Several items were reported missing, including a toolbox, tools, and a shop vacuum. The investigation is ongoing. 
January 20
A suitcase was located by a West Plains resident in a ditch along County Road 6300 in West Plains. A possible owner was located. 
A West Plains man reported that his license plates were stolen while the vehicle was parked outside of his residence on State Route PP. A report was generated, and the plates were entered as stolen. 
A West Plains woman reported a juvenile child as a runaway from her residence on County Road 6340. The juvenile was located a short time later and was returned to the parents of the child.
