Incidents
April 27
Two firearms were reported stolen from a residence on State Route Z in Willow Springs. The firearms were entered into the database as stolen. 
An assault was reported, which had occurred the previous day on County Road 5090 in West Plains. At report time, no arrests had been made in the assault. 
April 29
A Caulfield woman reported that her identity had been stolen. The woman stated that she had applied for a satellite television account, but was informed that her social security number had already been used to apply for an account. 
A burglary was reported at Blessed Girls and JJ’s Appliance Repair. Entry was gained to the building through a window in the back of the building. 
The Child Abuse Hotline was called after an employee at Fairview School had to subdue an unruly student. An investigation determined that the employee was cleared of any criminal acts, involving the child. 
April 30
A Pomona woman reported that she had received a notification indicating that she was at risk from hackers. After contacting the source of the notification, the woman gave permission to remotely access her computer. As a result, sensitive information was accessed by the scam artists, leading to a $999 withdrawal from the woman’s bank account. The matter is under investigation. 
May 1
An arrest was made on East Main in Willow Springs for driving while revoked. 
May 2
A vehicle break-in was reported on County Road 5390 in Willow Springs. A purse was reported stolen from the vehicle. 
May 3
An arrest was made on County Road 8800 in West Plains after a traffic stop. The driver was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and outstanding warrants. 
May 8
Property damage was reported at a residence on County Road 9300 in West Plains. An investigation showed that the damage appeared to have been done by a neighbor’s dog. Attempts will be made to contact the owner of the animal.
