Incidents
August 4
A missing juvenile was reported at a residence on County Road 7140 in West Plains. The male juvenile is 5’11” and approximately 150 pounds. He was last seen driving a red Zetor tractor. 
A woman came to the Howell County Sheriff’s Office to report that a male subject she knows is not returning her property. An investigation was started. 
August 5
A report was received that someone knocked down the statue in front of the St. Joseph Catholic Church on County Road 1940 in White Church. A report was taken, and the investigation continues. 
A woman reported that her license plates had been stolen. A report was generated. 
August 7
During a traffic stop on BIll Virdon Boulevard in West Plains, a substance believed to be methamphetamine was found. The driver of the vehicle was released from the scene, pending further investigation. The substance will be sent to the state crime lab for analysis. Charges are pending, following lab results. 
A male subject was seen pulling a woman out of a vehicle near U.S Highway 160 and State Route FF. The male was arrested on outstanding warrants. 
August 8
A possible deceased female was reported at a residence on State Route E in Moody. An investigation determined that there were no signs of foul play, and that the woman had died from natural causes. 
A taser was used to subdue an arson suspect after he threatened law enforcement with a firearm. 53-year-old Robert Lewis Robinson threatened deputies with a gun after contact was made with him, with assistance from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Robinson was arrested on multiple charges. 
A domestic disturbance was reported at a residence on County Road 3270. No criminal charges were filed in the incident. 
August 10
A woman reported being abused by her husband and provided photographs. The suspect was unable to be reached, due to being out of the country currently. The woman was advised on how to pursue a protection order, and charges have been filed against the suspect. 
A man reported receiving threatening and harassing voicemails. The man was advised on how to get an ex-parte, and charges will be pursued through the Howell County Prosecutor. 
A possible deceased male was reported at a residence on County Road 3070 in Mountain View. An investigation found no foul play, and the man is believed to have died from natural causes. 
A report of domestic violence was reported at a residence on State Route T in West Plains. A male subject at the home stated that the female suspect was causing problems, and that he did not want her at the residence. The female suspect was arrested on an active West Plains warrant and was taken to the West Plains jail. No charges were filed in regard to the domestic violence call.
