A burglary was reported at a business on East Second Street.
A suspicious subject was reported on North Ash. The male subject was gone by the time an officer arrived.
June 25
A suspicious subject was reported on East Third Street. The area was checked, but no one was located.
A caller reported fireworks being set off in the area of Belmont. No fireworks were detected in the area.
A burglary suspect was taken into custody for questioning.
Shannon County requested assistance for a vehicle in the roadway on State Route OO and a male subject running along the highway.
June 26
A male subject flagged down an officer to report an assault that had occurred at the river in Texas County. The man was able to speak to a Texas County deputy regarding the incident.
A male subject requested information on the operating hours of the city parks.
Two individuals who were found sleeping at Wayside Park were asked to leave the park.
June 27
A suspicious subject was reported walking along U.S. Highway 60. The male was gone upon an officer’s arrival.
A domestic disturbance was reported at Malone’s Motel. The two involved parties were separated.
Property damage was reported at a residence on East Third Street. 
June 28
A log truck rolled from the gas pumps at Signal and jackknifed. The driver returned to move the truck.
A driver noticed damage to his car while it was parked in the Walmart parking lot and wished to file a report. 
A four-year-old was seen by himself on Fifth Street. Contact was eventually made with the boy’s mother.
A caller reported seeing a screaming female being forced into a vehicle on First Street. Contact was made with the vehicle, and both occupants stated that they were playing.
A caller reported a small child riding a motorcycle on Third Street. The motorcycle was not able to be located.
A caller requested that an officer talk to his stepdaughter after finding a white powdery substance in her room. The man feared she may be using drugs.
June 29
Mercy Hospital requested a report be taken for an assault.
A resident on East Fourth Street reported that someone had thrown an object over their back fence, and that they wanted someone to come check it out.
A female subject was taken into custody during a traffic stop near U.S. Highway 60 and Elm.
A possible intoxicated driver was reported on East Fifth Street. The subject was not able to be located.
A suicidal male subject was reported on East Seventh Street. Contact was made with the subject who stated that he was fine.
June 30
A caller reported his adult daughter missing. After the initial report, contact was made with the woman in question, who stated she was fine.
A resident on North Ash reported that she believed she may have alcohol poisoning. Police and EMS responded to the residence, as well as the woman’s caseworker.
Pine Street was closed between Fifth Street and Main Street while utility poles were replaced.
July 2
A driver was cited for failure to display state license plates during a traffic stop near McDonald’s. 
During a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 60, a driver was cited for a lighting violation. 
A woman reported that her ex-boyfriend was keeping property from her. The woman was advised that the matter was a civil issue.
July 3
Assistance was given to the Missouri State Highway Patrol for a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 60. 
A citizen advised that they had seen smoke in an alley near Los Amigos. A grass fire was detected, and the fire department was notified. The fire was brought under control while fire personnel responded.  
A caller reported that fireworks were being set off near Valley View Apartments. 
July 4
A traffic stop was initiated for a careless and imprudent driver on westbound U.S. Highway 60. The traffic stop was turned over to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. 
A male subject reported that his vehicle was struck by another vehicle while it was parked near Apple Market. No report was filed due to lack of information and conflicting stories being told by the driver. 
A resident reported that a neighbor was throwing fireworks at the residence. The reporting party was not at the scene of the residence when an officer responded. 
A well-being check was requested for a male subject who had been sitting in his vehicle for several hours near a firework stand on East U.S. Highway 60. The man stated that he was fine and had just fallen asleep. 
July 5
Moderate injuries were reported in a traffic accident near Roberts Wood Products. 
A caller reported that his Facebook account had been hacked. The man was advised to contact Facebook about the issue. 
A noise complaint was received from a guest at Malone’s Motel. The reporting party later stated that the issue had been resolved. 
July 6
A funeral escort was provided from Yarber Mortuary toward Birch Tree. 
A woman reported that she had caught her two juvenile sons smoking, and that the boys had left the residence. After reporting the juveniles as runaways, the woman later reported that she had located both of the boys, and that she believed one of them was under the influence.
July 7
A well-being check was requested for two dogs in a kennel on West 4th Street. The owner of the animals showed that they were being properly cared for in the heat. 
A caller shared concern about a fire on Kaitlin. Contact was made with the residents who were conducting the controlled burn, showing that the burn was small and under control.
