An alarm was detected at West Plains Bank. The building was checked, and everything was fine. 
An elderly woman was transported to the hospital by EMS. 
A domestic disturbance was reported at an apartment on 2nd Street. The involved parties separated for the evening. 
August 6
A female subject was given a citation for shoplifting at Signal. 
Assistance was provided to the Howell County Sheriff’s Office for a shooting on County Road 3530. 
A well-being check was requested for a male subject on State Route W. The man stated that he was fine. 
August 7
A male subject who was parked at the end of Derks was told to leave the area. The man complied with the request. 
An ambulance was called for a female subject on 4th Street who was complaining of chest pains. 
A dog was left at Casey’s. An individual came to get the dog. 
August 8
A male subject was reportedly sleeping on the bench on North Ash. No criminal action was found. 
A possible intoxicated driver was reported on Delp Road. A large brush fire was reported on Belmont. Fire personnel responded to the scene to keep the fire under control.

A male subject reported that someone was trying to steal his dog. 
August 10
A young boy was reportedly riding a dirt bike on Nina Lane. The boy was not located. 
A male subject reported being harassed by a former landlord. 
A group of kids were reportedly riding along Ridgeway Drive, shining lights into windows. The kids were asked to not shine lights in windows. 
August 11
Doris Street was reportedly blocked by a vehicle and a basketball goal. An officer responded to the area to clear the roadway. 
A male subject reportedly exposed himself at Veteran’s Park. The man, who was intoxicated, was released to his sober wife. 
A woman reported that she put her phone on a charger in the ER at Mercy Hospital, but when she returned, it was gone. 
A male subject was reportedly harassing workers and yelling at others at Casey’s. The business asked that the man be trespassed from the property. 
EMS was requested at Brookview Apartments. 
A male subject with active warrants was arrested at Casey’s.
