A theft was reported at the golf course. 
The manager of Valley View reported getting attacked by one of the tenants. A report was taken, and a citation was issued for assault. 
August 20
A burglary alarm was reported at Mountain View Lumber. The building was secured, and no doors were breached. The front door had not been properly secured. 
A person was reported in a ditch near the Christian Church. The person was a hitchhiker who was waiting for it to cool down before continuing to walk. 
A domestic disturbance was reported on Stub Street. No criminal charges were filed. 
August 21
A vehicle was reported stolen on North Ash. The vehicle was entered into the stolen vehicle database. 
A custody dispute was reported on 2nd Street. A female subject stated that her ex-husband would not return her kids at the agreed time. 
A well-being check was requested on Falck. There was no answer at the residence in question. 
A woman requested assistance with installing a car seat. Assistance was given. 
August 22
A verbal domestic was reported at a residence on West 4th Street. The involved parties were advised of the 12-hour rule. 
August 23
Assistance was given to the Department of Social Services with a home walk-through. 
A caller reported that a semi-truck was speeding and not maintaining a lane. 
A juvenile was escorted to his home to acquire some clothing. 
A woman reported that a driver spun out, slinging gravel at children who were waiting for the bus. 
August 24
A deceased female was reported at a residence on David Drive. 
A resident complained of a dog barking excessively on State Route Y. 
August 25
A caller reported seeing a male subject strike a child near 7th and Marr. Contact was made with the male subject. The child was not harmed. The child, who has special needs, was having an attack, and the father was trying to calm him. 
A domestic disturbance was reported on North Plum. 
A caller reported a child crying in front of the laundromat on West 1st Street. The child got into a vehicle that headed down State Route 17. The vehicle was not able to be located. Information was relayed to the Missouri State Highway Patrol for a well-being check. 
A caller stated that a vehicle was sitting in the turn lane near Sonic with its hazard lights on. Assistance was given to the driver to get the vehicle off the roadway.
