January 14
A domestic disturbance was reported on East 3rd Street. A citation was issued for assault, and the parties were separated for the night.
A noise complaint was received from Valley View Apartments. Contact was made with the resident that was playing the loud music, and she agreed to turn down the volume.
A woman called to inform the police department that her vehicle would be parked at SBU until the morning.
A metal road hazard was removed from the roadway on North Elm.
January 15
An officer responded to Ash Street after a report of a stopped vehicle and a person lying down in the roadway. No one was found in the area.
January 16
A female resident requested information about a child custody dispute.
A Houston police officer made contact about information on a vehicle that had been involved in several gas drive-offs in Mountain View.
January 17
Assistance was given to a woman that had fallen on ice on East 4th Street. The woman was helped into her home but declined medical treatment.
January 19
An attempted break-in was reported on Washington. The reporting party stated that two males fled when he went outside. The resident stated that he was in the kitchen with his wife when they heard a noise outside. Nothing was taken or damaged.
A well-being check was made at a residence on 7th Street. The resident stated that they had not been feeling well but did not need medical treatment.
January 20
A disturbance was reported at a residence on Ash.
A caller reported that they had lost a phone in case one was reported as found.
A suspicious vehicle was reported parked on Washington. The vehicle was not located during a check of the area.
January 22
A security alarm was activated on Elm. The property was checked, and everything was found to be secure.
January 23
Assistance was given to paramedics to gain entry to an apartment on Delp Road.
