Officers spoke to one individual requesting assistance and issued six traffic warnings.
September 22
Officer Dylan Vice checked the wellbeing of an unresponsive individual sitting on a bench at Malone’s Motel. He found the individual intoxicated and unable to speak coherently. Officers called EMS.
Lt. Roberts assisted Malone Motel with an eviction.
Officers spoke to three individuals requesting information or assistance and issued six traffic warnings.
September 23
Officer Vice conducted a security check of a building reported to have lights and loud noises inside.
Officer Vice assisted with a fire on Stub Street.
Off. First Class Kylie McGee conducted a security check on a residence with a broken screen door. The owner later reported they thought the wind broke it.
Lt. Roberts assisted EMS with a medical call on East Third St.
Officers spoke to an individual requesting information regarding another individual’s behavior.
September 24
Officer Vice conducted security checks on local buildings.
Off. First Class McGee arrested one individual on an outstanding warrant.
Lt. Roberts conducted a security check on a suspicious individual on Oak St.
Lt. Roberts conducted a safety check on a vehicle in a ditch near the elementary school. Individuals stated the vehicle became disabled, and they were waiting on help from a private party.
Lt. Roberts responded to Third St for a report of a suspicious person attempting to enter a residence. He found nothing out of place and did not locate any individuals.
September 25
Off. First Class McGee responded to a report of a semi-truck parked in the entrance to a business. She contacted the driver who admitted to falling asleep. The driver moved the truck.
Asst. Chief Schwien attempted a traffic stop, and the driver fled the area. He later found and arrested the driver for outstanding warrants.
Officers spoke to two individuals requesting information or assistance and issued four traffic warnings.
September 26
Asst. Chief Schwien and Off. First Class McGee responded to a report of unwanted people on a residential property. They found a couple picking up walnuts. The couple left the area.
Chief James Perkins, Asst Chief Schwien, and First Class McGee responded to a call reporting an individual with a knife stabbing items in a home. They located the individual walking down the road. The individual requested EMS, and they transported them to the hospital.
