April 26
Cpl. McGee conducted a wellbeing check on an individual parked on the side of the road. She found the driver pulled over to send a text.
Officer James Wardrip conducted a requested wellbeing check.
April 27
Asst. Chief Roberts and Chief Stetson Schwien investigated a report of a physical domestic altercation with the possibility of a weapon.
Officers responded later to the same altercation at a different location. They advised the parties of the 12-hour rule.
Officer Wardrip followed up on a nuisance ordinance violation complaint.
April 28
Cpl. McGee conducted a safety check on a driver parked in the median of the highway. The driver stated they lost something and pulled over to locate it.
Chief Schwien conducted a check on a vehicle reported to be parked at the airport. He found an individual waiting for an appointment and advised them to park elsewhere.
Officer Jacob Brixey responded to a report of an open call to 911. The couple at the residence claimed they did not need any assistance.
April 29
Officer Wardrip took a report of property damage.
Officer Wardrip assisted Winona Police Department.
Officer Dudding responded to McDonalds for a possible verbal argument. He found the argument took place over the phone.
Officer Brixey assisted West Plains Police Department with a possible theft investigation.
April 30
Officer Brixey conducted security checks on local businesses.
For the week officers: investigated six suspicious circumstances, spoke with seven individuals requesting information, followed up on seven previous investigations, assisted once with traffic control, investigated two nuisance ordinance violation complaints, conducted paper service eleven times, and issued fifty-four traffic warnings.
