Cpl. Kylie McGee assisted another law enforcement agency with detaining a subject until they could transfer custody.
Cpl. McGee received a call of a suspicious vehicle for a dead snake hanging out of the window. She spoke with juveniles who stated they found the snake on the road and wanted to create a hat with it.
Cpl. McGee assisted Shannon County and Division of Family Services with an investigation.
Cpl. McGee responded to a dispute between neighbors. They trespassed the parties from each other’s property.

Officer Jacob Brixey conducted a security check on a vehicle parked in a handicap spot without proper placard.
Asst. Chief Roberts spoke with an individual reporting their juvenile child received alcohol from an adult.
Cpl. McGee received information from Howell County Sheriff’s Office of a possible altercation taking place in a vehicle entering Mountain View. She located the vehicle and the individuals stated their conversation became loud but not confrontational.
May 12
Chief Stetson Schwien responded to City Hall for a complaint of vehicles parked in handicap parking spots without proper placards. Both drivers agreed to move their vehicles.
May 13
Officer Brixey spoke with an individual found sleeping in their vehicle.
Chief Schwien responded to a call from the Street Department after they discovered a firearm. He secured the firearm until an owner can be located.
Chief Schwien investigated a private property vehicle accident at the football field.
Chief Schwien investigated a two-vehicle accident at Pine and US Hwy 60.
Officer Brixey conducted a requested wellbeing check.

Chief Schwien responded to Signal for an individual stealing a honey bun. He located the individual and they returned and paid for the item.
Chief Schwien received a call from Mercy ER for an individual who refused medical treatment and needed a ride home.
Officer Matthew Combs conducted a requested wellbeing check on an individual under a house to make repairs.
Officer Brixey took a report of burglary and stealing.
