An officer was dispatched to Valley View Apartments regarding harassment and a traffic complaint. 
A driver needed a jump start for their vehicle on Pine Street. Assistance was given.

A suspicious male was reported on East 3rd Street. Contact was made with the subject. 
A resident on East 3rd requested extra patrol near her home. 
A caller advised that drugs were located in a vehicle on Pine Street. The vehicle was not located. 
Assistance was requested for EMS on Delp Road. A male subject refused to be transported for medical treatment. 
An officer responded to a domestic disturbance on County Road 3440. The scene was secured until a deputy from the Howell County Sheriff’s Office arrived on the scene. 
A woman was reportedly harassing customers at Walmart. Contact was made with the woman, and she left the scene without incident. 
A woman reported that her vehicle was stolen. Since the incident had occurred outside of the city limits, the woman was referred to the Howell County Sheriff’s Office. 
A resident on Elm reported the theft of a firearm. A complaint form was provided.  
A woman reported that she observed a skunk behaving strangely in her yard on 2nd Street. The woman was advised to contact the Conservation Department if she saw the animal again. 
A resident on Faulk Street was advised that the back hatch of their vehicle had been left open. 
Suspicious activity was reported near storage units on Von Allmen. The vehicle was gone on arrival. 
A resident on Ash Street reported hearing strange sounds in their house after having been gone for some days. The house was checked and cleared. No one was found in the area. 
September 20
A BB was shot through a window at McDonald’s. Chief Perkins responded to the report. 
A female subject reported that she believed her boyfriend was suicidal. The woman was referred to Shannon County authorities, where she stated her boyfriend was. 
September 21
A female subject reported a lost or stolen license plate from her vehicle. 
A minor vehicle accident was reported in the Walmart parking lot. 
September 22
A resident on East Rd reported that someone entered her yard, littered, and banged on the side of her house. 
A juvenile from Pennsylvania reported that a person from Mountain View had threatened him in an online group chat. 
A caller requested information on a missing person case. Information was given to the caller.
